Mixed Media Collage No. 3

Black Lives Matter Series: The Health of a Nation | 2020 | Mixed Media; oil and ink on Washi board || To our nation’s Veterans: May we always care for you in a manner worthy of the sacrifices you made for us. We must do better by you after your tour of duty is over. The VA Medical Center was founded during the Civil War to care for Volunteer Soldiers. So many Black Americans served our country before the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, and were denied ordinary rights. We have debts outstanding.
